Dr. Anastasia Hadzidimitriou holds a PhD in Immunogenetics in B cell malignancies (2006). In 2006 joined INAB/CERTH as a post doctoral researcher in close cooperation with the Molecular Biology lab of the Department of Hematology and Transplantation Unit of G.Papanikolaou Hospital. In 2008 she worked as a researcher in Immunogenetics group (IMGT, http://www.imgt.org/) of the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) in Montpellier, France.
She is a member of the ERIC [European Research Initiative on CLL, http://www.ericll.org]. Dr Hadzidimitriou currently coordinates the ERIC recommendations for the screening methodologies and the Online registry and support for Immunoglobulin gene sequence interpretation projects on behalf of ERIC [http://www.ericll.org/pages/projects/ongoingprojects].
Her research focuses on High-throughput immunogenetics analysis for unique scenarios of clinical value in immunology.
