CLL-Registry is a registry of patients with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) from major hematology centers in Greece that has been developed for the collection and registration of multi-originated clinicobiological data.
The registry consists of a relational database for the clinicobiological data, a catalogue of the data types to be collected, including data categories, their relationships and properties, and web interfaces with mechanisms for the collection, homogenization and curation of data.
The main objective of the registry is promoting basic and clinical research, with implications for both improving patient risk stratification and guiding rational treatment design. Based on existing close collaboration between the network of hematology centers in Greece, the registry aims at:
- enabling multi-center projects on clinical association studies,
- providing accurate information about the state-of-the-art in CLL diagnosis, prognostic assessment and management in Greece and
- facilitating the design of clinical trials.
