IMPLEMENTATION OF A ROBUST NGS-BASED DETECTION WORKFLOW AND INVESTIGATION OF TP53 SUBCLONAL DYNAMICS IN CLL AND CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE

In this project, we are going to implement a robust assay for reliable and accurate detection of TP53mutant microclones in CLL. We will nvestigate whether microclones harboring TP53 mutations are present in progressive CLL cases negative for clonal TP53 defects. Moreover, we will also perform longitudinal analysis and investigate subclonal evolution patterns will be performed and finally we will explore associations with other clinicobiological characteristics, particularly karyotype complexity and immunogenetic features, response to treatment and eventual outcome.
