The External Advisory Board (EAB) supports the strategic development of the Institute of Applied Biosciences, enhancing the Institute’s continuous effort to achieve both scientific excellence and industry applicability.
The EAB was enacted on September, 2020. It consists of at 5 members, highly recognized and reputable in their respective fields.
For the 2020-2024 mission, the External Advisory Board consists of the following members:

- Marie-Christine Jaulent | Research Director, National Institute of Health and Medical Research (INSERM), France
- John Weinman | Professor of Psychology - School of Cancer & Pharmaceutical Sciences & Emeritus Professor at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience in King’s College London. Co-Director of the KCL/KHP Centre for Adherence Research & Education, UK
- Phillip N. Tsichlis | MD, Chair, Department of Cancer Biology and Genetics, College of Medicine, The Ohio State University, US
- Richard Rosenquist Brandell | Professor of Clinical Genetics at the Department of Molecular Medicine and Surgery, Karolinska Institutet & Senior Physician in Clinical Genetics at Karolinska University Hospital, Sweden
