Organization of the Food Identity MS program

Since 2017, ΙΝΑΒ is a partner and co-organizes a Master Program in Food Identity; a multidisciplinary program that takes place in four European countries and trains future experts in the agri-food sector with an international vision of culture, market analysis and competences in food processing, authentication of GI products, sensory analysis, quality control, marketing strategy and entrepreneurship.

Moreover, it is involved in educational activities on valorization of local food value chains and GI’s (PDO, PGI and TSG). In total, during the last five years 92 students have been trained at INAB, originating from 30 different countries. MFI program is designed to develop both technical and management skills focusing on local and traditional food products. It takes place in 4 countries (France, Italy, Romania and Greece).

Training in Greece involves theoretical knowledge and practical experiences gained through applied work in pilot plants, visits to production sites and to retailers. For 2022, INAB will host MFI students during the period 20/06 – 01/07.
